got this one yesterday, I simply couldn't help myself, i swore i wouldn't get anything until i had the filter sorted out and built up the live rock.
it started eating on the first offer or shrimp held on a feeding stick. Must have been a little peckish when i got her.
We named it Snow White, because it was sliming inside the pipe with a snow flake eel, I've seen the snowflake advance on her but this may be territorial. they don't fight and the tank is only 30L i think that is 9gal.
One thing about eels is that water quality is easy to maintain, there is no uneaten food, and feeding doesn't happen that often. so white ribbon 16inches and snowflake at 12inches, that makes 28inches in 9gal. not a problem. eels can handle poor water quality, the snowflake in particular survived amonia and nitrites off the chart. so in the event of a spike your not bound to loose an eel.
