I always have a fox face or a rabbit fish as now i have a large rabbit .. Looks there a lot of B/S about the venom its not as a rule deadly to anything its like a bee now to some they can cause a allergic reaction and if you are one the be allergic then the old EPPI pen is a must. But fish to fish I doubt it will kill one .. I have been hit by them several times its a bee sting at best

I had a urchin to jam a barb in my finger between the cuticle and finger nail base last week .. That )(*&^&*() )(*)( HURTS! Just got it dug out yesterday (: I have a BO BO ):

That's what you get by trying to pick one up by the spines...

I did same when very young snorkling in PI. Looked easy...but those things move fast.

You are lucky...my hand swelled up like a basketball, and the doc's had to do some serious digging to get the SOB out...they are very brittle and have microscopic barbs to make it difficult to do so.

Thanks everyone, He is still alive and seems to be getting better. The foxface immediately puts his spines up every time the tang gets near him, The other fish don't seem to faze it at all.
