   |  Foxface Rabbit
Hello all....I have a question about my foxface rabbit. He seems to have, what looks like to me a cataract on one eye. All my other fish are fine and my water readings are all perfect. Any suggestion? |

Probably injured it or could be cloud eye or popeye. Keep an eye on it (no pun intended). If it doesnt start to clear up in a couple of days or is getting worse, place it in a QT tank and treat with penicillin of some other broad spectrum antibiotic. A fresh water dip also works well with the antibiotics.

No it's been there for a while, plus I noticed this morning it is happening to his left eye also. | |

I would do a FW dip and treat with antibiotics in a QT tank if its happening to the other eye. It could be cataracts but it could also be cloud eye. | |

I also have a foxface and they do tend to have a slight fogy film over there eyes, I do believe this is normal for this fish, As All I have seen also look the same. Thanks for the advice. I will keep an eye on him! I've noticed it seems to go away when the lights are out, but maybe..... it's my eyes that are bad. lol | |
