| Foxface owners I have a Q for Foxface owners. My FF does something that is weird and was wondering if Im not along. My FF "likes" to "bite" at the waters surface making a biting noise. My tank has plenty of O2 so I dont think its that. Was wondering if anyone else has seen the same thing. | Luna, I've had these fish for years and never had them do anything like that, but I have had other fish that would do that. One was an angel and the other was a Tang.
Think that some fish are just "special" and either see thier reflecion or, are trying to eat air bubbles. Both times I just change where the return pumps were pointing and they eventually stopped. Both cases were different too, the first there was a lot of surface agitation and the second I switched to more surface movement. |

I have 2 tangs that dont go anywhere near the surface, only at feeding time. I have checked my O2 levels and they are fine. Fish(all) are swimming and not gasping for air. I just find it wierd.
