Foxface Injury Or Disease?

This happened literally within the last day or so. I know it didn't look like this on Sunday...

Is it scraped from a rock or something, or bites(?), nips?
Or a disease of some sort.

It's acting normal, and eating, so I'm not sure.

To me, it looks like some sort of blister (if that's even possible in fish)...maybe google that in diseases?

 

I've searched out a lot of different terms, and it seems like it's either an injury or some kind of fin/rot thing.

But the fact that it looks like scrapes or marks makes me think it's not a disease.
I'm hoping he just based up against a rock or something and scraped some skin.

He just ate a ton of food, and he's racing around the tank, not breathing heavy, so I guess that's all good signs.

 

I have seen this before and I believe it is a parasite. Often, as it does with humans as well, the body will react with it's own defenses causing these "cysts". As far as treatment goes, without knowing exactly what it is, I myself would try hyposalinity to see if that helps the fish.

 

Looks like a parasite to me as well.Could be Isopod or Tanaidacean.A FW dip will be required to rid the fish of them. If they are in your system it is bad.
