Unhappy Flame Wrasse
Mr. & Mrs. Hawaiian Flame Wrasses arrived today on flight from Hawaii.

They are now in quarantine at the LFS. He called me on their arrival and I immediatly went down for a visit.

What a gorgeous pair of fish.

Will send some pics when they get in home tank.


Sorry, I don't often get to add fish to my tank and I get overly excited!

Unhappy


Went down to LFS today to check on my newly arrived flame wrasses.

was shocked to find the female missing from tank (usually deaders to neighboring shark tank) --- the male's fins were all ragged and frayed - don't know if from other fish or has some kind of fin rot disease.

Owner was not in today so was unable to see if he knew problem.

Thank goodness I had forsight to leave them in his tank instead of immediatly bringing them home as was my first inclination.

Am quite sad for fish, but think I will be getting a refund and will be first on wait list for next arrivals.

New wrasse arrived couple of days later...after 2 weeks in QT he is in main tank and doing GREAT:
