| flame hawkfish i really like these and went to the lfs today to pick one up after reading about it and the "guy" there told me that he would eat all of my inverts(hermits crabs shrimp) but i did not read anything about that.
can anyone with experience with one of these chime in and let me know how he does with the rest of the tank
also in my 55g tank:
clarkii clown
yellow tang
porcelin crab
few emerald crabs
sally lightfoot
coral banded shrimp
bunch of red leg hermits and blue leg hermits
really i am just looking for other peoples opinions and experiences with them to judge if it is worth the risk or not
thank you for your time

| They are a great fish But if you wish to keep just know your crustaceans will be eaten.. period its that simple no matter what you feed them .. I love them myself and have had many in as many set ups they eat what they eat. | Of all of the hawkfish this is one of least aggressive. We have one in our 72 and he has not bothered any of the inverts, not even our little peppermint shrimp. | They are known for flipping hermits/snails over and plucking the goods out of the shell. Their mouths are bigger than they look. My buudy has one and I've seen it eat a whole sand eel. |

| Have had one for 3 months and still hasnt eaten or attacked the banded coral shrimp or fire shrimp. Must be on of the lucky ones for now. Also gets along with all my other fish including the my peaceful chromis. Just my experience, dont know how yours will react.
