Default Fish from saltwaterfish.com

Well everyone, I went ahead and ordered a reef package and some fish from saltwaterfish.com and am VERY impressed! *So far so good! *On Monday I ordered 2 3-stripes (which my LFS offered to take off of my hands and give me 1 percula for once I am done with them)...I got them because they are pretty hardy and they were "on sale" for 4.99 ea. at saltwaterfish.com and I want to make sure my tank is on the up and up before I put any more ideal fish in. *

I also bought the reef package with 2 brittle stars, 1 coral banded shrimp, 3 emerald crabs, 5 Nasssarius snails, 20 turbos, 10 scarlet hermits, and 10 blue leg hermits!

So far, everything is doing well...I put some seaweed (purchased from the local asian market) into the tank so that the critters can munch if they dont have enough food for the time being (though im pretty sure there is plenty of algea for a little while at least).

The order arrived next day air via fedex and everything looks good...nobody looked too traumatized by the shipment and fedex seems to have done a really good job in shipping live fish!

Anyway, just wanted to let ya know how things were going...maybe this time my neighbor/roommate wont kill them by dumping the whole thing of food into the tank (idiots)!!!!

Anyway, thanks for the help everyone, I will keep you all posted!

SOLD THE 55 GALLON...moving to Atlanta and hoping to get a nano as soon as possible.

yeah, I have my eye on the pygmy angel. It's on sale for 4.99.
It's good that I had some response here because I was not sure if their stuff is any good.

I am very impressed with the speed of delivery, quality of packaging, and quality of the fish! They all seem very very healthy...though I will have more of an opinion in a few days, to see how they all fit in!

They will not ship any order (free shipping or not) if you don't have a 79.99 minimum in live goods! It says free shipping, but be forewarned...there is a 9.99 surcharge and a 1.99 fuel charge...still not too bad for priority overnight on a >79.99 order.

Hope that helps!

hm, I didn't see this 79.99 minimum anywhere. good to know.
So, you have to have 80 dollars in fish and live stuff? or can you mix it?
