quick question, my sixline seems to have like a color smear on its side, like if some one smeared his lines, could this be from stinging corals. he likes to swim under my frogspawn, and torch corals,

Hard to imagine a rub or sting would smear coloring on side of fish.

Was it always like this?...sounds more like a genetic defect...
