| Ive seen some damsels get close to 6"s. People would trade them in at the LFS I use to work at. What are you feeding it? Its color looks a little dull.

| it's been that color for as long as I can remember. She eats New Life Spectrum Optimum flakes, Seaweed Selects Green Marine Algae and Mysis Cubes. Anything you'd recommend to brighten her up? She will eat just about anything that moves and is sometimes a bully to my Foxface Rabbit, but the Foxface stands it's ground and raises the spikes of death. LOL

Sex: Sexual differences:
Blue Damselfish are sexually dimorphic. The females are entirely blue without any yellow or orange coloration, some females depending on localities have a black ocellus on the lower posterior part of the dorsal fin. Also they have nearly translucent fins (see photo at the top of this page), versus totally blue fins in males. There is more information here: |

| Im 100% positive its a blue damsel. Ive had a mated pair of them. Finally got those suckers out of my tank. |

| Ya' know..I was wondering if this was the first fish I put in the tank....It may have been! We did 2 blue, 2 purple and orange and 2 yellow's, along with my engineer goby. That was about 6 years ago! Dern!! That's cool....I think I''ve been asleep this whole time! lol Thanks for the replies! |
