Didja ever acclimate a fish and just know it was going to jump on you? Well, I just brought home a Coral Beauty, and as I was transferring him, he jumped and landed on the carpet. I quickly, and carefully, scooped him up in my hands and put him in the tank...along with a clump of pet hair. :mad: I got the hair out of the tank, but the poor little guy is really breathing hard. I'm going to keep a good eye on him and hopefully he'll calm down a little.

But he does look nice!

Hey duck I knw that feeling.. our Coral beauty have never even looked like it wanted to jump.. But we had 2 flame angels at the shop and one always looked tweaked and jittery put a hand in the tank to take a coral plug out and he;d go nutzzz. Laste week he took the big leap LOL won;t no saving him ..

He's doing ok. I just fed the tank dinner and everyone is doing well.

Good to hear that it's doing better and eating is a good sign. My firefish has jumped 3 times and it's survived all 3.

Yeah, it's the fact that I just paid almost $30 for a fish and he's flopping around on the floor. He's a little skiddish when I come up to the tank, but I'd be afraid of me too, if I was the last thing to see before doing the floor flop!
