i might try to find the camera tomorrow and take some... now that my tank's looking halfway decent, i'm not so ashamed to take pics...lol.... since adding my lights, i've got massive coralline growth (it may just be the "placebo" effect, or it may be that i just didn't see it under my original weak lighting)... but the fish, yeah.. same old fish that most people start off with.. i'm still happy tho... the blenny hid for just a few seconds, and then jumped right on doing his job, eating algae on the rock... the damsel tho... i thought he jumped out of the tank when i went to dump the bag water... i looked FOREVER in the tank, tried to look under,in between, and behind every rock i have... so then i left the house, a couple of hours later, came back to search... i looked around the tank in the floor... no luck.... and FINALLY came back an hour later and saw him swimming around happily! decided to drop in a couple of food flakes, he went straight to tearing them up! so i guess its all good in da hood... oh, on a side note, i guess fish DO sleep at night... i got the moonlights, and i looked everywhere after lights out, and all i could find was what i THINK is the outline of the blenny... hard to tell because i was looking under a rock on the sandbed.. but i think he's hiding behind that rock...but as i said, i'm happy, because now i have something to watch so i'm not stressing about if i have the skimmer adjusted right (that's a problem in itself, either too much or too little, and that perfect medium is next to impossible to find... even when you think you found it, come back 10 minutes later, and the cup's full, and the bubbles go back down to below the cone thing...) |
