Question emperor angel/giant tomatoe clown

while waiting on my 96gal fowlr, to be set up, i've got to keep my emperor, and clown, in my 29 gal hospitol tank.

the only filtration is a hang on filter, without any carbon, as there is copper in the tank.

i did the drip acclimation for about an hour.

my 96 won't be set up until the weekend, and i'd like to at least let it cycle for about 2 weeks, as i am using the same water, and rocks that were in the tank, before teardown.

i should also note, these 2 fish were originally in that tank.

my question is, do you think they will be ok in the 29, under those conditions, for 3 weeks?

i can do weekly water changes, if that will help.

If anything I would keep an eye on the emporeror angel. How big is it?

Also, what else are you doing for water movement? I would add a powerhead or an air pump even just to help keep the water oxygenated. Perhaps someone with more experience could chime in here.

And water changes certainly won't hurt. The water they are in was from your original tank setup right?

i know i will be crucified for this, but i decided to put the emperor in my 210 reef.i don't have but a few corals, just starting with the, so i think he'll be ok.

he is about a year from being full grown. he's about 5 inches, i would guess.

he, along with the clown, were in the 96 gallon, i recently aquired from someone.i have the water from that tank, with an pump, and heater, waiting to be set up.i am also going to put the live rock that was in the tank, back in, along with a few fresh pieces.

the clown is going to be in the 29gal hospitol tank.he is just HUGE, and will kill my sabea, that is in the reef. he'll just have to tough it out for a few weeks, in the hospitol tank. nothing i can do.

These fish grow much bigger then 5 inches! Expect to lose a few corals. At that size he would havebeen fine int he 29 gallon, i would have personally just added an airstone

his lines are almost straight, but he is about 5 or 6in.

i've heard they usually nip at stoney corals. i've only got a carnation, leather, mushroom, zoos, a brain, and sun coral.

think i'll have problems?
