| dwarf angel compatability Hey all,
Its been about 3 weeks since ive added a fish and im debating on what to get next. Im leaning towards a flame angel, the problem is that i all ready have a coral beauty (which i love, beautiful fish). I know that dwarf angels can be territorial to other similar looking angels, anybody have an experience with the two of these? I have a 55gal stocked with a 6 line, lawnmower blenny, coral beauty, and a damsel. Any help would be great. thanks in advance.
PS I just learned how to give out karma, so anyone ive missed in the past im sorry, but im looking forward to giving out plenty in the future! lol thanks. |

| hey bavs. Putting 2 angels of any sort together is asking for serious trouble. 99.9 percent of the time, one of them will eventually end up dead or you will tear your tank apart trying to catch one of them. I understand how you feel though because I love the dwarf angels and wish I could have one of each.

| ^I'm gonna agree with Dan on this one. Unless you had a much larger tank, I wouldn't chance putting 2 dwarf angels together in a 55. _________ |

| i have probably the least agressive and most safe angel, the dwarf white tailed angel and even though it does'nt bite or eat tank mates and coral,it still is constantly bumping into the coral and some don't get to be open very often because of it.i just think angels are a pain.

| My friend has a 260 Gallon tank which has 3 dwarf angels which all get along due to the size of the tank. I think if you try to put more than one in a 55 gallon tank you will regret it. I know you feelings I wanted to get a flame angel and a lemon peel
