So many toxic marine animals in our tanks.

Have often thought we reef keepers should have some kind of "medic alert" wristband saying something like "Marine Aquaria Keeper" in case we are found unconsious in front of our tank to give emergency care givers a clue about what our problem might be. (as if even then they would have a clue).

I have a two volumn set (over 1000 pages each), on "Poisonous and Venomous Marine Animals" published by the US Navy in 1967. Gives symtoms and possible treatment for most venoumous marine critters.

If anyone wants to know toxicology/treatment for any particular animal, let me know and I will look up for you.

Well the lion fish has now gotten a firm toe hold as far north as the outterbanks of N.C and even heard a few where seen and taken off of Cape Charles Va a yr. or so back. Seems they adapt very well.

Now wait untill some one gets hit with that (: I had one to bust my forearm,wrist area in 71 .. It stung like crazy. Don't recall it totally anylong more painful stuff has replaced that one memory (:
