| Convict Blenny (2) I have 2 convict blennies which I've had about 2 mos. or more. They are about 4 inches long. Each live on either side of my 90 gal. tank. The past couple weeks they come out when I feed the rest of my fish.
Well, tonight we saw both Convicts in the one corner of the tank/out from underneth the rocks. The 2 were like rubbing up against each other. Than 1 Convist would kind of bite(looks like biteing), the other Convict in the middle or up a little towards the head.
What are they doing? Are they mateing or fighting?
I'm new at this, started my tank in May 2007.

| I do not have any shrimp. The whole time I've had them they have stayed under the rocks till feeding time.
And I'd say the way the Convict was going at the other Convict could have been niping. Do they lay eggs or live bearers. If eggs, where would they lay them and how long would it be till something hatches? |
