Clown Fish

I went to the lfs & found a true perc I fell in love with. (so I bought it!)
Went back to the lfs the next day & was told by a different employee that he is leery about them due to not knowing where they came from & if they came from the Philippines, don't be surprised if in 3 months I have a dead fish due to cyanide. He said that this is the only place in the world that still practices this method of fish retrieval. Is this true? Is there anything that can be done to rid him of cyanide? Not too versed in the whole poisoning fish for a dollar scheme. [smiley=shifty.gif]

hmm, if i need to move my anemone and clown pair what is the best way to get them away from the anemone? i have a little breeding box should i put them in there till the anemone gets situated?

Sometimes a clown can upset an anemone, they just love them to death

It is best to let the anemone find a place in your tank and get used to it and a feeding schedule before you put the clowns in. I realize that this is not always feasible, it is just the prefered method if you can.
I just use a net to scoop them out, or if that fails put the net in the tank so they get used to the sight of it and feed them and then try to get them. Hope this helps.
