I read this in the instructions "Just place titanium grounding probe in your aquarium or sump and hook it up to a grounded outlet." and my question is....huh?????? how do you do that?

I would hope it comes with a normal 3 prong plug. By the nature of the device, it wouldn't utilize the two main prongs. I can't think of any other safe way to attach a device exclusively to ground.
