Chromis mixing

    Does anybody know if mixing chromis' works? Will they still school? I looked all over couldn't find an answer, thanks

    I wouldn;t supect a problem other than you are at the upper limits of your tankas far as the number of fish. I only have two damsels in my 29 gallon anf I would go no more than three small fish maximum. I mixed the Caribbean Blues withe the Green no problem.

    Remember Chromis are in the Damsels family. So some could be more agressive than others

    Good point J! I rate chromis at the low end of the aggressiveness scale of the damsel family, even less aggressive than clown fish, and have never had a bad experience with these fish.

    ive only had green chromis but ive heard they dont really mix to well the blues stay to them self and the greens do the same. also i think the blues are a little more aggresive then the greens

    Not my experience Karla. My Blue Caribbean mixed very well with 2 Blue Green Chromis.
