Just did a quick search ...100 - 180 minimum. And i would guess a lot bigger if it wants to be nice and comfy also depends on the shark..

yeah im very excited my lfs said they will take him back but there is no guaruntee i will ever see him again, im gonna hold on to him as long as possible though

i wouldnt try to hold as long as possible, as you have your 55 as a reef and it will quickly amount a ton of biological wastes, nitrate will spiral (along with amm, and nitrite) and corals will be kaput........
