Default "Bi-color" Blenny...

Craig, chrischick

Am glad you brought up subject Bicolor Blenny
(Ecsenius bicolor)

No tank should be without this little guy...more "character" then all other fish in tank put together...a &quotr. Zuess" looking creature complete with long "eyebrows" and "whiskers"...loves to jump from hole to hole in rocks, grazing on algae on the way...

Lots of "fun" packed in a small package...could fit in smallest tank...& don't think he is a "threat" to anyone...

Almost all blennies are characters with loads of personality. I love the bicolor as well. The coolest thing about blennies are their facial expressions. I currently have a Midas Blenny and he's one of my favorites. I like him so much that I'm moving my Red Coris Wrasse out of the tank so the blenny will feel more comfortable(the wrasse can get rowdy at times). He darts in and out of his cave and when he sees me around, will jump out to display his antics just to see if I had any treats for him and will retreat back to the hole with just his cute face sticking out.

@ marinenut,

My "bi-color" blenny acts much the same as your "midas" - *He is always the major attraction & attention getter by visitors (once noticed) --

It is, like you say, almost like he puts on a show everytime you walk in room..

My wife will sit and "chuckle" for long periods, just watching him. *

If I wasn't so guilty of the "always room for 1 more" syndrome... - I would consider another...but really, have the draw the line at any more fish for a while ...

(except for a pair of little citron clown gobies, ummmmm ) ( i truely do have an "illness" about these critters *) - *

Rgds,

OmarD
