| AWOL Sixline! Bad week for sixlines...
RE: Missing Sixline (jcdillin}
Coincidently my prized sixline also came up missing few days ago.
Not a jumper, have had 6+ years...Not in overflows, not on floor.
"Googling" "sixline wrasse lifespan" - I found it reported anywhere between 4 and 10 years.
May be reason...
Also have no idea as to age when I got it. But probably was a juvenile as that is what I always try to get when adding any fish. Don't remember.
Still hoping is on extended vacation somewhere in tank and hoping it will show up.
If does not, trip to LFS for another in order, while tank inhabitants are used to having one around...
RIP Sixline?--- SlideShow _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."

| hey i just got a juvi the other day,actully it was from reading so many of omards post about how great they are. and he was right i love it. thought it would be to aggressive for my docile community but he fits right in.he is very calm, and he seems to really be aware of your presence.
sorry for your loss omard, i would bet he just lived out a full happy life in your tank.6 yrs is a long time.
ive heard my scooter dragonets only got 2-3 yr life span. that is going to suck.love my dragonets, and ive had the one for a year now.(not easy to get a healthy one,will be hard to replace) |
