I had to build a wall divider in my QT to keep them sperated and let the males wounds heal. Hes pretty beaten up, fins all torn up and stuff. _________ Got Questions? Need Answers? | The female can get in there if she really wanted to and as a matter of fact, the coral beauty just got in there. I used egg crate cause its big enough for the male to get out and small enough to keep the female out. but there is a tiny gap on both sides. |

| Seperate tanks can ruin pairs. If the male thinks the female is dead or left him, he can start to morph into the new female. Thats why its so hard to pair up 2 fish from the fish store that isnt paired up already. |

| Try rearranging the rockwork. I know it's meant for territorial fights, but maybe it would make the female feel unsettled and may reduce aggression. I do not know if it would be a permanent solution, though it might buy some time for you to think of something else.

Cant do that, they are in a barebottom QT with that one decoration in there right now. The meds should be over with by this weekend, and I am going add some stuff in there to help break it up so its not so bare for them. Everything Im adding is dry right now except for some new livesand from carib sea. Basically setting it up as a tank, and using a HOB filter for a 100g tank and adding a plenum. |

| Er similar problem HI,
I have 5 clarki in one tank and they have to stay out of the big ones LTA or its hell to pay,
She will try Kill any clown that ventures near it,
They have their spots all worked out now , I do have a lot of rock and some large hiding places.
Some fish will act submisive and then they will be a aggressor in another tank.
I have several chromis that sort of distract everyone from focusing on one fish.
May be to late to intraduce anyone to that tank, I now tend to try and set up the crew together and they have their pecking order all worked out when small.
Best of luck with the little one.
Doug
my tang tends to break up the fights she will get between them and show them her knife edge.
geeze how anything lives is a amazing.
