| Any useful info on white, stringy clownfish poo? Came home from work at 5pm and noticed that one of my clowns had a long white stringy coming out of his butthole.. it is still there and its almost 10pm.. is this something to be worried about? I cant tell if its getting longer but I figured it would have broken off by now.. is it a disease? is it normal? maybe has constapation? weird poo ? It is the smaller one of the two and doesnt seem to be tempted by food too much, but I cant tell if its because the bigger one eats so fast. All params are in check and I feed spectrum pellets and mysis shrimp and i tried mysis soaked in garlic and the big one tore it up haha |

| White stringy poo usually means internal parasites or illness. How is the clown doing today? |

| Are you getting your clowns from the same source? If so, you might want to try another store. |

| I got these 2 from the same source.
1 dead from white turd disease as I will name it
1 not doing so good
the other 2 I had were from a different (more expensive) source.
1 dead from popeye
1 dead from multiple ick outbreaks
I let the tank sit for about 4 weeks with no fish in it before putting in the second set and they are fine for a few weeks and then out of the blue they just get sick and die |

| Sorry for all the questions but how old is this tank? If it's relatively new, it could still be going through some growing pains. Do you have any other fish in the tank? |

| tank was setup mid January sometime..
I've had 4 firefish, 3 false percs, 1 black perc die..
I have a $1.50 special unidentified goby (kinda silverish clear, ugly) that has been in there without a problem for a couple of months now which is why this is aggravating me so much. I figure if its living others should be able to live too |
