| Any difference between an Atlantic/Caribbean Lion fish and Pacific? Just curious since there are so many that have invaded the Atlantic and Caribbean, are any differences?
A friend of mine said the lions in the Atlantic are not what he remembers from living and doing lots of diving in the pacific. He said in the pacific you wouldn't see them just swimming around in the day... as I he and I have seen in the Atlantic/Caribbean. Obviously that is not scientific at all, but just curious if anyone has followed the invasion of them on the east coast and the Caribbean
Thanks,
Ser |

| I have never seen them there, but i do go to the Caribbean bout once a year. They tend to be a little further off shore, they arent native there so behavior may be different has there may be less predators of them, if there are any to begin with _________ |

| when where u there? It has really changed in the past two years.
I believe there is a bounty on them, for Bahamians only I think. I am only a resident, not Bahamian.
I don't know why the Bahamian government doesn't set up a catch program and sell them around the world. Worth so much more then conch. |
