| Angelfish I have heard that you can't keep two angelfish in the same tank, but the angelfish they were talking about were the ones that get huge, like the Emporer. I have a coral beauty angelfish and i really want a Flame angelfish. These two fish dont get very big and I was wondering if anyone has this combination of fish or similar, and what to expect. Thanks!
_________
30 gal hex, 2 inch sandbed, 25 lbs live rock; 2 powerheads, 1 aqua clear filter (up to 50 gal), 100gph cyclone skimmer; 1 orange-spotted sleeper goby, 1 coral beauty angelfish, 1 sixline wrasse, 1 coralbanded shrimp. |

| bad, bad, bad Idea. Did I mention a bad idea? the flame will torcher the coral beauty till it runs it to death. The pigmy angels are very agressive, and the Flame angels are the most agressive I believe. |

| Don't want my coral beauty to be chased to death! Thanks for the info. What other kind of fish would you suggest? I had two clownfish that recently died. I'm thinking about getting one more fish that won't be harmful to the others in my tank. |

| It's about 3 1/2 months old. We let it cycle for 2 months before we added fish. All the levels are perfect except for nitrates, which are off the charts. People have told us that it's not good to do water changes once a week, but then our lfs said we should do a 10 gallon water change once a week to get the nitrates down. I'm starting to believe the guy at the lfs. We have to get the nitrates down somehow. |

| frequent water changes are good if u don't have adequate filtration. what's your NO3 at? i was doing once/month changes NO3 was around 20-40 started every week changes down to around 10, and i have a huge bio-load. |
