|  Algae Blenny
Well I was at the LFS yesterday looking for a potential new addition. I saw a Algae Blenny and he was very very cool looking and had a great personality. But they informed me that they become very agressive and almost damsel like where they will beat up new additions put in after. I guess the big question is does anyone have one and have they seen similar behaviours?

There's many different kinds of blennies that eat algae. Can you be more specific? Lawnmower blennie perhaps? As for aggressiveness, I've only seen blennies be aggressive towards other blennies so I don't know what your lfs person is talking about. | |

sorry about that, they just had Algae Blenny written on the tank. He looked like this so I think that is the lawnmower right?  | |

Right, that's a lawnmower blenny. Should get along fine with all fish except other blennies. | |

They are characters. You might want to pick up some seaweed sheets if it runs out of algae in your tank to eat and doesn't eat prepared foods. If you notice it starting to get skinny, you'll have to feed it the seaweed. | |
