Adding Clowns

I have a True Perc living in a green BTA (rarely leaves). I was wondering if I could add another true perc now. I would like to have a pair, but I wasn't thinking when I got the first one, and only got 1. I have had the first one for a couple months and all seems to be well. Is it too late to add a second? Will they fight? Will they live happily ever after following an initial dispute?

If you make sure the new one is smaller everything should be OK

no problem

you will find the current clown will be the dominate female while the new Clown will become the male. With any like you could have them pair up and start making babies
