| 6 line wrasse in newer tank? hi all
I was wondering if it would be safe to add a 6 line wrasse to my system even if i plan to add more fish later. i have read that they get very teritorial towards newcomers
i have a 180 gallon tank

| Re: 6 line wrasse in newer tank? Assuming your tank has finished cycling, you should have no problems adding the fish, especially in a tank as large as yours. Good luck! |

| Re: 6 line wrasse in newer tank? thanks for the help, i think *the 6 line should be fine in my tank, i went and got *a 6 line and a yellow tang yesterday and so far they are doing good the 6 line wrasse got chased a little by my yellow tail blue damsels but he can out run them pretty fast. very interesting little fish to watch
any suggestions on what to feed them?. i got some green seaweed from the lfs and i feed the other fish pellet food, mysis shrimp and brine shrimp

| Re: 6 line wrasse in newer tank? Mine loves brine and mysis. I'm sure he would eat more, but thats about all that I've been feeding my fish lately, with the exception of some frozen Cyclop-eeze once or twice a week.

| Re: 6 line wrasse in newer tank? In a 180 with LR he should be fine even if you dont add food to the tank....by feeding off of the pod's and what not. I love those guys, there is a verysimilar looking wrasse that sells for around $100.......i say that one in a store before i ever say the 6 line. Saw a 6-line for $10 and quily purchased it and left thinking it was mispriced (i was 12)! Very nice little reef fish. _________ Yes, tiny has an 11" legspan...... |
