2nd fish for a 14g

I need some suggestions / advice on another fish for my 14g.

I was thinking seahorse(s) but I would want gorgonians...which need alot of flow...whereas the ponies cant have that much turbulance. <They also need to be fed 2x daily?

A sixline is out because of size (i think)

I'm contemplating a royal gramma or a barnacle blenny.

Any suggestions?

My current stock is shown in sig. but today I just got a maxima clam, and I will have my gigas from my g/fs tank soon

BTW, no damsels. I dont feel like being attacked by a devil-fish :'(

Royal grammas swim alot so I wouldn't add one of those. Not sure how well a barnacle blenny and your goby would get along either in such a small space. Have you considered maybe a small clown fish? How about a clown goby (they don't swim much so if you're looking for movement, the clown goby wouldn't thrill ya). Gorgonians can do well in low to moderate flow so you could do a seahorse or two if you don't mind the feeding regimen (but a lot of folks do).

Hmm...I had the same thoughts on the blenny (and the gramma)

I think clowns are the second-coming of satan himself. They are cute, but keeks1127's is a PITA! I cant do anything in her tank w/o getting nipped at.

I dont think I've ever seen a clown goby IRL...I'll have to look into them.

Any other suggestions? I'm open to anything non-damsel

If I remember correctly, she has a cinnamon clown? If so, they are one of the more aggressive types of clown fish. Perculas are not so temperamental

Actually, I despise clowns....and magicians. Clownfish, however, I am fond of for sure

And does/did your gigas care less about light then maximas? Mine will just sit open partway through the night

As far as I know, gigas clams require the same amount of light as the other "light demanding" tridacnid clams.

None of my clams close completely after lights out. If I'm not mistaken, the only tridacnid clam that can really completely close its shell is h. hippopus.

That's an easy answer....$15 They are a very peaceful fish but they are jumpers so keep that in mind. Hopefully, the firefish won't try to intrude on the prawn goby's burrow and vice versa
