So I picked up these awesome green frillys today. But was noticing these smaller mushrooms having various colors, and a couple being completely white. Is this a sign that these are bleached out and or dying?

No not necessarily, it can take a little time for small ones to color up.

They look healthy to me otherwise. So maybe bleached but definitely not dying.

You're welcome, and that was a good idea to get another opinion.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I have had the same thing several times. just shaded mushrooms that will color up as 2in10 posted. Very nice fuzzy green ones.

Thanks guys! And the crazy thing is, they are only about half the size in this pic, than they were at the LFS. they've only been in the tank for about 2 hours. Can't wait for em to plump on up. :)

I agree with everything that has been posted. It looks like there is a baby down on the bottom right. Is this correct? If so, this little guy may have spent some time burried in the sand. Not much light in there, if so. If this is the case, it certainly speaks to the hardiness of these critters.

    Mushrooms! Woo-Hoo!

I would just use a Sharpie and color it in..kidding. They actually look nice and healthy to me.

Alright fishkid2, you have caused me to spit coffee on my computer twice this evening alone. Please stop, or you will be required to buy me a roll of paper towels. ;D
