I'm sorry sue i did'int see your post till now , Yes i have been at for awhile the tank actually was put in 4 years ago after i'd went thrue a 38 then 125 gallon systems, this being the 220 inwall though.

When the tank was first put in i'd proceeded to go at it and load it to the gills with LR and so forth but aftyer 2 full years of it running with a reef set up i had to reluctantly reduce it to a Chiclid tank. because of some other financial burdens that had to be addressed at the time and thought it best to discontinue at the time .
( needless to say i was going through withdrawls lol )

Bout Jan. of 08 decided hell be dammed i was going back to my beloved SW so ive been taking it slow this time as moneys will allow as im still dealing with those same financial burdens at this time.
( It's like fighting a mad bull , but i seem to winning ""slowly"" lol ).

When it was set up for the very first time i'd had roughly 200 pnds or so of LR and packed with softies and some acro's.

So in the near future i hope to aquire some more LR and of course get this tank back to its formal glory.

Not sure which one your asking about but >

yes all plastic, you'd be supprized at what you can find at the home depot or lowes in your area.
Goto the plumbing section and look in the small plumbing parts area.

I will be adding a self feed from my RO/DI barrel with another line to the sump here in the near future .
Will post "close-ups" of what i did as well .

I was talking about the spigot with the red handle. I've only been able to find those in metal (brass). I'd like to have one in plastic, as you have much more control than with a ball valve.

A spigot is a gate valve or ball valve. Serves the same purpose.

Thanks, Zectra! I tried to open the pic in MSPaint, but it wouldn't let me, as I saved it as a jpg instead of a bmp. That's exactly what I was talking about.
