All pictures below this point were from the first post in this thread

Figured what the heck why not start a thread for the wife.

Tank is an Innovative Nuvo 38, with Kessel A350W(REPLACED WITH LED) and, the innovative protein skimmer(works pretty darn nice).

She is so funny when she gets a new coral just like a little kid. Last time we went to world wide coral she saw 2 gorgs she likes and couldn't choose so next thing I hear out of her mouth to the guy was I will take both of those(at $25 bucks a piece who could blame her.

some pics I snapped real quick.

Looks like it's coming along nice. I'm
starting one for my wife. A Nuvo 8. She wants it on the kitchen island!

So I was looking at new lights for my 135 couple weeks ago and the wife asked what I was up to. Told her looking at lights and she said well you should get 1 and try it on my tank first(humm she is cunning).

We currently have the kessil 350w which works just have not noticed much coral growth(could just be me). Anyways we ended up getting
EVERGROW IT2040 which came in today. I have not set it up on the tank yet but got a couple shots.. 1 just basic out of the box look, 1 with sunny setting so you can see the color spectrum of leds, and 3 a moon shot. last shot is what tank currently looks like.

Probably hang it this weekend but got to figure out if we are going from the ceiling or make up some brackets..Ultimately wife will make that decision(ha ha).

Anyways just couple shots(no I did not look directly into the light I held camera out and snapped shot).

I think your wife needs to get on the forums! She sounds like she has the fever :) Is the new light going on her tank?? That will be some serious light!

Sweet tank! It will be interesting to see if the new light makes a difference in coral growth.

ya light is going on her tank and replacing the 350W. Figure I am going to put is 12inchs above top and dialed way down. Or should I put it higher?

Ya she has the bug but she is not big on computers.

Got to snap some pictures later of a trumpet coral and a Pavona frondifera (ORA Mint) my wife picked up this weekend. Also just got in green monster acan, a couple cherry blasto frags, Leptastrea frag, and a nice Pink Millie frag
