I run ROWA carbon in a reactor and clean the glass before I take pictures. Also having a Canon 5D digital camera helps along with a tripod.

I currently have a Catalina Aquarium light with two Phoenix 14K MH's and four actinic PC's. I'm in the process of upgrading my lights. I also sent you the PM you requested.

I use a Maxi-Jet 600 with a ball valve. I like the AquaC XP a lot at first but if the top isn't on tight it will leak. I now have it in my sump and like that it holds a lot of media. Almost twice as much as TLF's.

I put the carbon on the bottom and the phosphate on the top. The low flow doesn't allow them to mix.

I took your advice about raising my alkalinity and I can already see daily growth in my SPS corals. I have it at 9.0 dKH, brought up from 7.0 dKH. I plan to keep my KH at 12 dKH and my Ca at 520 and my Mg at 1560.
