Karma to Otty for helping some fishes out and hooking up fans on my canopy last night.
It seems 1100 watts of pure coral growing power wants to heat the tank up a bit... 84 degrees...
Well see how it looks tonight after the fans have been on there for a day...
Oh, and I couldn't find anything wrong with my reactor last night??? I didn't replace the media but I might do that tonight... | Now I know who you are! LOL you like the bulbs ? never said they did not get hot .. |

| Tangster, the bulbs are great! A little HOT but hey I've never known the sun to be cold. I've never seen my coral grow like it has since I switched to these bulbs. My LPS' darkened up and my SPS' are growing like weeds!
Oh, and I don't need to heat the basement now! _________ Kris

| I told you they move some volume (: Try enlarging the hole in the cap or just remove the cap (: Or you could slow the pumps up a tad LOL
Also did you put strainers on the tee throats ? sometimes snails and or fish will get in the pipes.. |

| Wow Otty
As soon as I can afford it, I'm going to order you some stuff from a guy off N-R.com. He's got some of the nicest SPS ACRO! Will ship from 15632 - Nano-Reef.com Forums
- then I'll have to see your tank
Do you like LPS as well (acans, blastos etc?) or just the SPS ? |

Also did you put strainers on the tee throats ? sometimes snails and or fish will get in the pipes.. | I could get it to work if I plugged the hole on the standpipe and pulled a straight syphon but that doesn't restart good after a power outage. I hooked one pump up to just supply water back to the tank from the sump and the other pump runs a 6 outlet manifold that I run the Ca reactor, fluidize sand filter, carbon reactor, phophate reator, skimmer and bio tower that I am about to finish. All of that just about eats up the gph the pump puts out, this way I won't have any motors in the water everything will be external. Quote:

We are having a meeting / cookout saturday night and you are more then welcome to come, just let me know so I can lay enough meat out to thaw. |
