| Well I somehow knew you'd be sick today LOL your Hammer head will have to work now to supply some water
There won't be any back pressure when you open that thing up.. Scott on the inlet chamber there are two little ports for the Air I use on wide open for the ozone is connected directly to be pulled in then the one with the Factory valve I added a second valve to set to be the main air regulator and then I just cut the lower factory valve totally off to remove the collection cup section of the riser.
Keeps the foam down and when I'm done I just open the lower air valve wide baco open and its set and ready nothing to mess with . You can get me a picture of the top of that black cap I'll look I know they changed them somewhat since I had ours here. A few tricks to tweaking them that I picked up from my ETSS days (: If you have any questions ?
Call me I'll be here until 2:00 then I go to the Dr's ..

It is for a 200g or 250g can't remember and you should always go a little larger not smaller. It came with the tank so I don't feel I am out any money since I got the tank for a steal. Just needed a new toy. Wanted something that will accept ozone too and the Bullet series does. I am really impressed with the craftsman ship on this unit. Quote:

Will be heading home early tonight to get some plumbing done. Have to finish the stand I made for it first, thing is too pretty to just throw in the sump. Anyway the sump is full of LR so there is no room for the skimmer. |

| I made mine from 4 sections of Carbon fiber channel we build stands and stuff from then made it to set tight into the top inner rim of the tank and the fit the skimmers length 13 inches or so from front to back and it sets above the tank and all the water runs through a 4in x 14 in hang on inside acrylic box for carbon and a little floss to filter a little bit and the carbon for any residual Ozone although I have never seen any yet since we started to use skimmers as the reaction chamber for the 03.
Oh and you may want to just use a 5 gallon bucket for a few days Its going to be skimming alot of stuff once it settles in.. I set them buy cutting off all air got the water level in the box up to about a 1/2 inch into the first section of the riser throat. Then let it pull straight Ozone and kept the little blue handle valve closed off and let it run a few hrs like that the Ozone will help cut the oils .. Then just crack that other valve about 1/2 way and set back. Its going to go crazy for a few days to a week wet skimming on and off until it cleans the system out totally. It will settle in .. I went through about 3. 5 gallon buckets of stink water (: |

| Yummy...Mommy is going to love that smell. If she is downstairs she blames me for letting a stinker when I am cleaning the skimmer.
I have a hang on acrylic box ready. |
