Those ReeFlo HammerHead pumps are pretty nice and quiet plus they seem to have a good warranty. I had a couple seeps that I needed to thread tape a little more but other then that it has been ok. The pump on the right runs just the Ocean Motion on the closed loop and the pump on the left pulls from the sump and runs the chiller, WavySea, Ca reactor, PO 4 reactor, carbon reactor, skimmer and a fluidize sand filter. These are the only two pumps in the entire system except for the one on the Ca reactor. I didn't want any pumps submerged in the system. I made the manifold big enough for future expansions to a frag tank went all the corals get big enough, just trying to plan for the future now. Just got a 6" hole cut last night for outside air to be pumped to the tank, pH is really low in the winter with the house all shut up. Quote:

I need to frag em but Then I would just have more in there and no where for em. What ever happened with the club? Did Jay move away? |

| He took on another job and kind of lost interest in the club. Me and KOgle still meet alot and make trips to coral stores. Toadstool is doing well, my cleaner shrimp have called it their home.
Plan on heading to Inland Aquatics with INDMAS next saturday, if you want to car pool along let me know.
Glad to see you back on here! |
