J | Always have to give credit to the Motor Company...RIDE TO LIVE LIVE TO RIDE... Funny you mentioned that, I have been pondering making some home made live rock shaped like the bar and shield logo and set it in the middle of the tank. Will have to experiment on that one....Got any ideals how to show flow? _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

I will play with some air stones and see what I can get. Starting on the canopy for the MH's and Actinics now.....soon there will be LIGHT! |

| OTTY flow will be the least of your problems you have more volume running through the O/M then most have through their whole system. and yours is designed to put the cuurent out at the point of use not from top to bottom or front to back or end to end (: But also there is lots of ways to adjust it it also. After I set this one here up I had to make one adjustment and its they way it needs to be in the areas it needs to be .. I have a very slow low flow area for the elegance corals as I like them (: My favorite coral of all time . _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |

If I am using my Mag-Float to clean the glass and it comes apart, I'm not quick enough to be able to grab it before the current has it sitting at the OF box.. Boy does it move fast.....That alone shows me there is all kinds of water movement in there. |

| | 3reef Moderator | Ya if you have an airstone that might work. But you say the mag flaot flys accross the tank into the OF WOW that a lot of flow.
I would spend some time learning your flow. Just with your hand feel around the tank and watch were detritus builds up. then you will be a ble to make adjustments were needed and learn were to put some corals
