Are you serious Tangster or was that a TOUCH of sarcasm in your voice?

It's an overcrowded home with a little of everything and 5 fish. Thank good the fuge and sump were built for something bigger.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking ? I think I'm serious and as for sarcasm ? what did I say ? I did not intend to sound sarcastic or insincere ? If I did I apologize

Nope its all one tank what you are seeing are the two vertical overflow boxes and they threw a few tons of rock in to get it started .. Cyano's took over from lack of circulation and I was asked to come in and find the problems and fix them.. So with trusty sawzall and some blades I did just that had my two plumber sons to come in and put the pipes all together.. Took us 12 long hr to drain it and repipe and drill the tank in the proper places and refill it.. ):
Then I buffed to whole front panel out and the new woodworking will start later this month and the new panel box up grade my son will have done by the first of Feb and I'll go back down and put the lighting to it . But its one tank Tenacor made it. From two 1,200 gallon tanks seamed in the center.. Thats why the boxes are where they are.. They would have been dead center of the single 1,200 tank but when the fused the two to make one it looks like this and yes we had to find a weird angel to shoot the photo.. I'll post more as it progresses along.

Question Calculations

The numbers seemed large so I did some ciphering.................
20 * 5 * 6 = 600 cubic feet * 1728 cubic inches in a cubic foot
divide this by 231 cubic inches in a gallon and I get ~ 4500 gallons
not 2500.
WOW Thats a nice tank, but I wouldn't want to have to take care of it unless it was my full time job.

LOL Thats what I thought I was told also ? But never having measured it other then knowing it took a 20 ft length of 3in pipe with a tad left over and using the same method on the vertical and width The number do say its closer to 4.500 gallons? I worked with the stuff there already and I thought he aid it was 2500 myself ? maybe he did say 4,500 ? I just no it was piped up all wrong and it was full of cyano's and dead areas.. And they say its rocking now cleared up totally and Cyano is totally gone. I'll measure it up and know for sure when I lay the light scheme out for it.. Chris is redoing the Panel Box up to 400amps this next week or so.. then we'll do the lights. Just being a dumb ex-mechanical expert what do I know LOL

Except the fish experts had not clue as to how plumb or wire it up not to mention figuring BTU heat load for the chiller size (: And building A/C system we installed a few yrs ago.. LOL I think he will wish he went with 10 tons now come this hot humid summer LOL
