I don't know, i though either my puffer fish would kill him or he would just die off. (he was aggressive to my other fish in my salt water tank). But he seems to be loving it and he no longer aggressive or scared of me.

Ok
1, the "clam" is a flame scalop ( hard to keep even by an advanced reef keeper it will most likely die very shortly in a new tank )
2, the little gold colored long eel looking fish is a "midas goby" ( hardy and fairly easy to keep , the one thats hiding in the rock by the leather )
3, the dark blue fish is of the "damsel" family ( all colors of damsels are availible but most are "war-mongers" they love to agravate others and are very agressive. )
4, the one your Girl friend bought for ya ( the one thats white and has a yellow stripe on its head ) is a "yellow headed sleeper goby" -sand sifter.
( easy to care for for the most part )
5, the "anemone" ( the one that looks p-O'd is i cant tell what type ) on the left side and on the rock.
( they require Very stringent PH/alk levels and water flow )
6,The "purple slug" as you call it > flabellinopsis iodinea < other wise known as a "spanish shawl" ( have fun with that one too most likely will not live for any period of time in such a new tank ) and most of this family love to eat zoa's and such.
7, your skimmer looks as if it's NOT working .
8, Why did you put a "salt water fish" in your "fresh water tank" its been there for 3 months ? ( it's been dead from day one ) and ya wonder why ya cant see it no more ?

theres "brackish water fish" and "salt water" and "fresh water"
be certain what your buying and puttin in these tanks,

I donnot wish to be mean or cruel here Porky, slow down and start reading if you plan on being successful with this .

Wild Reef, i couldn't see my Big mouth bass (he was behind the coral), the salt water fish is STILL alive, and i was wondering WHY he was alive.
(puffer fish i know require a little bit of salt in the water making it brackish)
Gold fish = crazy and can survive anything.

What looks wrong with my skimmer?

Ya got yahoo brother ? its easier , any way your camra was moving to quickly on some of it.
I would like to know "salinity, calcium, alk,PH readings" ?
the skimmer looks like it bought ready to over flow orr somthing ( couldint tell , cam was moving so fast )

And "some" puffer fish can withstand brackish water , most puffers will NOT
surrvive in brackish water.
