    Hello 3Reef!

This is my 6 Gallon Fluval Edge. Hope you all enjoy!

    FTS As of 3-27-14

    Current Equipment:
    -Fluval Edge 6 Gallon
-Stock AC20 HOB Filter with carbon, floss, and ceramic rings
    -Stock LED Lighting
    -ViaAqua 50w Heater

    -8 lbs live sand
    -6 lbs live rock

    -1 Ocellaris Clown (in quarantine)

Still trying to decide on lighting. If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know. I am on a budget, so if possible I don't want to spend more than 200.

With my current lighting, after my tank finishes with its late cycle, are there any coral that I could keep without much trouble?

    Quarantined Clown

At the moment, my clown is in quarantine as when I added him I was met with a huge ammonia spike.

    Hi and Welcome NanoFreak,

Cool little tanks. You can do some great modifications on them.

when i first started the edge was the tank that inspired me. I eventually decided on a larger tank, but I still love the nanos. Very cool:)

So far I like the tank, although the limited accessibility due to the design gets annoying. Any recommendations on cleaning/ removing leftover food that's in the corners?

Do a water change a week, then use rubber hose to suck out all the bits of left over food as you do.

You gotta play with it, you can control the pressure with your thumb and if you're gentle enough you won't suck up too much sand lol.

Alrighty. Right now i've still got my clown in a cycle-less quarantine bucket. My edge still has around 2 ppm of ammonia. Should I just let it sit or is there anything i can do to speed up this late cycle? (I think it is a cycle, it may just be an ammonia spike:confused:)
