Meet Yoda, the peacock mantis

Here is our 8gal mantis tank.

We just bought him from the store, we also bought some of their sand to add to our tank, and one of their rocks, to make the transition easier on him/her (we haven't found out yet). The store manager even through in his favorite smashing coral for free. He was her favorite and now he is all ours!

As of right now his name is Yoda, unless we figure out he is a she.

sweet. I have just begun to set up my future mantis tank.. It got a coat of black paint on the back, and the tank has begun its cycle..
I cant wait to get my mantis..

I was thinking of putting a blue background on our tank, but I don't know we still haven't put a background on our 75 LOL.

Niiiiiiice. I'd upgrade the eight gallon to something larger and more robust soon, maybe when he/she hits five inches or so. That 8 can't hold him for too long

What brand/model tank is that?
