| Funny Guy | T minus 46 hours... ![]() ![]() ![]() I've been on 3Reef for almost a year now and I can't begin to thank you all enough for all the things I've learned as I planned my return to having a reef tank. In less than 48 hours my new tank will be delivered.550 gal custom tank... 6 feet long, 3 feet wide, and over 4 feet deep. Inch thick glass all the way around with half-inch acrylic laminated to the interior and exterior of the bottom. Powder coated steel bracing rim top and bottom. Custom Cherry stand 78in by 39in built for my by a professional cabinet maker who I met at a Richmond Reef Club meeting. I also ordered my RO/DI unit today from BRS so we'll see how it works when it gets here. please tell Luna that pictures will be up soon . _________ 550g DT, 135g sump, 30g frag, 40g specimen tank. | Funny Guy | The trucking company never showed up at my LFS with the tank on Friday. Presumably my tank is in the back of a 18-wheeler somewhere between Texas and Virginia. Please let me know if any of you see it out there . Hopefully it will be here soon and I just take this as my first step in going slow.On a positive note my stand did get delivered and installed as scheduled. ![]() I'll try to get a few more pictures of it up in the next few days. |
