| I know what you mean the little things can be the biggest pain in the butt, Sometimes what you plan is not exactly what you end up doing. John |

| | 3reef Moderator | New wok done.
I mounted my reflectors today. I used a 2 way heavy duty drawer slide that allows me to push the lights out of the way in either direction

| Jason I like how you have done your lights- good job. I am going to be setting up a 300g cube sometime this summer and was planning on running 4X400W lights with the luminarc reflectors (same one you have that are vented) Are you going to put fans in each vent? That is what I was thinking of doing but have no clue how to do it or what fans to get. I was not going to go with any supplimental lighting at all and was thinking of maybe using 1 or 2 20K bulbs (really have not decided yet) to give me some blue colour. I don't know that I am going to have room to be able to have the lights move in more than one direction from over the tank to give me access but I really like your idea of being able to slide them in both directions. Hmmmmm |

| | 3reef Moderator | Thanks guys,
Ruth I think for venting I will attach vent hose to each reflector and then run it to a big fan that would be mounted in the wall. So I can vent right to the outside.
