Well I've started to move corals over to the 370 from the 75. Kind of strange, I'm running out of room

I'll post picks in the morning

Jason..... Hey. On the side of the tank where the overflows are. Is that a false wall made out of acrylic?? What do you know about bonding the acrylic to the glass and how was that done? If it is acrylic how do you get around the acrylic expanding faster and more than the glass? We were contemplating the same kind of idea, but kept getting shunned every time we wanted to combine plexi and glass. THanks for the pics... The tank looks great! Oh, yeah, one more thing, could you describe how your overflows and plumbing works a little more.... I think I got most of it figured out, but still can't tell what all of it is doing. THanks again.

Yes it's a false wall. It is actually Glass and acrylic. But either way it was bonded with silacone only. I have done this in the past many times you would not believe how strong silacone is. The piece of acrylic is cut smaller than the glass.

The overflow is quite simple. I have 2 2inch derso stand pipes cut to exactly the same hight. as the water overflows into the section behind the fales wall it fills up until it overflows into the Dersos and into the sump.

the first pipe is actually a return. I did not intend on having returnes in the overflow chamber but there was some sort of misscommunication when the drilling was done. But you can see behind it one of the durso stand pipes

here you can see the 2 overflow pips entering the sump. 1 has a filter sock the other doesn't. The third smaller pipe is the Chiller return

Hope this helps
Jason

Well I haven't updated the progress in a while so here are the updates. I have as of about 20 minutes ago completed transferring all coral and fish from the 75 to the 370G. But I'll let the pics tell the story

Oh my goodness. You have some beautiful pieces there Jason! It's a darn good thing that you don't live closer to me or I'd be bugging you for frags

What is that coral in the bottom left corner? Looks like a euphyllia but I'm not sure?
