Jason,
In your sump you have one of your returns with a sock on it. Is there a reason for this or is it just to help with splashing water in the return?
By the way that tank in the bomb, but I guess you hear that a lot.

hey Otty, it is a 100 micron filter sock. I have them on both returns just to aid in elimination of floaties in the water I change them every other day and wash them in the washing machine every 4 of 5 days. I have 6 or 8 in rotation.

They work great

Excellent ideal, may I ask where you purchased the socks? I cut down some straight Fluval filters to go before the media in my sump down one of the baffle chambers and it's hard to get to. The sock may take care of that.

I get them locally from Filtration Bags : Miscellaneous - Ocean Aquatics Ltd.

But I'm sure you can get them closer to you.

Here is PA's 16" 100 MICRON FELT FILTER BAG W/DRAW STRING: Premium Aquatics
