It really isn't as hard as everyone makes it seem. They just need regular water changes b/c they are sensitive to water problems. They do also need a decent size tank. They do not do good in groups smaller than four. I have seen four to six discus housed comfortably in a 55. Just let me know if you have any more questions and I would be glad to help.
