Fishoholics 125 build thread

I am brand new to owning a reef tank , I did a FOWLR for years untill about 6 months ago when all but one clown fish died in the tank. After many water changes I have now decided to build my first reef. I joined 3reef in Oct and have learned lots from every on here. I'm taking everything slow to avoid as many problems as i can. I have also been upgrading my tank in order to get it in tip top shape before I start to load it up.
This is a pic when I first started the reef

I have since added much more LR as well 3 MJ1200 2 korilia #4 and 1 korilia #3

I then added new 72" current lighting 3-250w MH, 8-39wT-5 actinic 24 LED Moonlights

With many more upgrades to come I'll keep you all posted

Looks like you are well on your way..... Big difference since the first pic.

Oh yeah! I have a DIY canopy I built for it but just have to modify it a bit to get it on. I'll post some more pics soon.

Nice dude. Very nice. I like the placement.....great viewing. K+ for the progress. Keep your thread going. It is actually very useful to track what you have done.

Here some pics of the stand I built for my tank. The tank is built into the stand so it's there for good. It's all travertine tile, and there is plenty of room under the cabnit for just about what ever I want put down there.

This walll is where all the plumbing and wires are hidden from view

The canopy I built needs a little more work to hide the other cords and make it a bit nicer.
