picking up a 210g this Saturday so figured I would start a thread.
    Upgrading from my current 100g.

-Tank is 7'x2'x2' and is drilled twice in the back pane with 2 glass holes overflow boxes.
-Mag 24 Return pump (will feed various reactors and will split to 3 different return lines back into tank.
    -Bubble Magus BM-220A Protein Skimmer
    -(2) Jebao WP-60's
    -(3) 120w full spectrum leds

What size sump would be good? im thinking about getting (2) 40 breeders and connecting them via bulk heads/pvc and have one be a dedicated refugium and the other be for protein skimmer/reactors/filter socks. I would have one drain go to the fuge with a split to the other sump and the other drain go to just the sump side. drain line to the fuge would have a ball valve to adjust flow.
    Thoughts?

NICE!!! Can you convert your 100g to a fuge? That would cool.

Ill look into them, Thanks! although im trying to keep the sump as cheap as possible so they might not be the best choice but ill still look lol

technically I could and it would work great, but im selling my complete setup (minus livestock and lights) to my buddy. so that ideas out.

Ok. If you are going cheap on the sump, then maybe look into a a cheap 75 gallon on CL or the dual 40B idea will work. I just dont like the idea of the turn over rate having to go through a 2" bulkhead.

yeah a 75g would probably work well too. The whole turnover wouldn't have to go through the bulkhead on the 2 40g idea, just whatever flow was going through the refugium to the other 40gould have to, which would be pretty slow. maybe a 75 would be easier though.

well the plan now is the 2 tank idea.
im getting a acrylic sump for the protein skimmer/equipment and then im going to have a 40g breeder slightly elevated gravity feed back into the sump via a 1inch bulkhead.
im picking up the tank tomorrow so ill post some pics then!!
