Okay, so I won a rimless 45 gallon tank and stand built by Reef Savvy at MACNA. I am extremely thankful for it being donated to the raffle and I'm stoked to get it up and running :) It is drilled at the bottom and has a corner overflow. The dimensions are 24" Long x 24" Deep x 18" Tall and it is built out of 1/2" thick starphire glass. I plan on making it SPS dominated with a few fish.

I would put pics up, but my computer broke, so hopefully I'll be getting a new one soon.

For lighting, I'll be getting some sort of LED fixture, but I'm not sure which brand yet. I'm a student so I don't have much money :p I may do a DIY fixture.

I'll probably get a Jebao wp25 for circulation.

The only tank that fits in the stand is a 10 gallon, so I'll be using one as a sump.

I plan on having an ATO as well.

I have no idea how to plumb the tank or how to make a sump, so I'll need help with that. Do people usually use PVC pipe for the overflow?

I'll also need help choosing a skimmer.

I'm very excited to start this build and I hope you all follow along! :D

It's no problem :) What are you planning on using for your sump?

I know it's a little early to start thinking about this, but what would be a good stocking list for fish?

Our friend is building me one. I think he's making it out of acrylic. I asked for it to be equivalent to a 29 gallon with 3 compartments. The new tank is 65 gallons (return ready to go, new tank supposedly on the way).

It's never too early to be thinking about a stock list :) What were you thinking?

I would focus on smaller, maybe less seen fish. Maybe Assessors and/or Basslets.
